Principle and characteristics of three-axis sensor Jan 13, 2023

In the multi-axis sensors, we often come into contact with 3 axis sensor. With the advent of industrial intelligence era, product technology has been updated and changed. Let's first understand the working principle and characteristics of the three-dimensional force sensor.

The working principle of the three-dimensional force sensor: The three-dimensional force sensor adopts the principle of resistance strain type based on the strain type force sensor, also known as the strain type three-dimensional force sensor. The triaxial load cell is composed of elastic element, resistance strain gauge and Wheatstone bridge circuit. The weight of the measured object acts on the elastic element to deform it and produce a strain variable. The resistance strain gauge pasted on the elastic element will convert the strain variable proportional to the weight of the object into a resistance change, and then convert the resistance change into a voltage output through the Wyeth bridge circuit. The voltage output value can be measured through the display instrument to complete the measurement task.

The characteristics of triaxial load cell: it can simultaneously detect the change of force value in three directions, X axis, Y axis, Z axis (vertical force), and output three groups of voltage signals. The sensor has three measurement loads to choose from (per channel) and can display data values via a multi-channel display. Three-dimensional force sensors are widely used in automobile manufacturing, aerospace, textile and other fiel.
