1、The material of the elastomer

 

The elastomer material of the force sensor is usually made of metal. Most of the available materials are aluminum alloy material, alloy steel material and stainless steel material. The alloy material not only has stiffness to ensure deformation consistency and deformation recovery, but also has good weather resistance and corrosion resistance. The main requirement of elastomers is that they can accurately transmit force information and maintain deformation consistency and complete resetting under the same force.

2、Material for strain gauge and resistance element

The composition of the resistance strain gauge is complex, and the combination of the substrate and strain copper of the strain gauge is kaleidering. According to the strain requirements, there are about thousands kinds of products at present. Generally, the substrate is made of polymer film material, and the strain material is high purity copper.

3、The material of the patch adhesive

The adhesive used for resistance strain gauge patch mainly adopts two-component polymer epoxy series adhesive. The properties of polymer chemical products are closely related to the physical and chemical indexes of each component. Such as purity, molecular chain structure and size, storage time, proportion of components, molecular modification, mixing method, mixing curing time, curing time, curing temperature, additives and percentage factors.

4、The material of sealant

The special silicone rubber sealant series is used in the force sensor. Silicone rubber has long-term chemical stability, therefore, sealant has anti-corrosion, moisture-proof, aging resistance, insulation and other excellent performance.

5、The wire material of the force transducer

The wire is a component of the load cell. The wire is the path of bridge power supply, signal output and long line excitation voltage compensation. Silver-plated wire certainly conducts better than copper wire, and copper wire certainly conducts better than aluminum wire. With the increasing interference of various high frequency and radio waves, the excellent shielding of the force sensor is also an important method to protect the signal stability. So sometimes the wire needs to use armor protection, casing protection and other methods.
