The installation of multiple load cells requires more attention. Accurate installation is very useful for future operation. For example, a high-precision electronic balance, almost rarely use a load cell, there are often more than two sensors to form a sensor system. This is done on the one hand to maintain the stability of the scale itself, and on the other hand can increase the weighing range.

In the electronic balance composed of more than one beam load cell, in addition to a reasonable selection of load cells and the correct installation. We should also pay attention to the following aspects.

1. We should be installed on both sides of the load cell with fixed pillars and jack stands. The height of the fixed pillar should be slightly lower than the height of the load cell 3mm to 4mm. So that when you need to replace or maintain the load cell, the use of jacks to jack up the scale, and then in the fixed pillar into the appropriate thickness of the padded iron, so that the load cell and the bracket to disengage 4mm to 5mm, as a temporary support. On the other hand, when the scale is overloaded, it plays a role in protecting the load cell.

2. In order to prevent the horizontal movement of the scale due to impact, we should install appropriate limiters according to the structural form of the scale. Limiters should not be installed in the vertical direction to exert any force, but can offset the horizontal force acting on the scale body.

3. The load cell must be mounted on a level surface and must be kept level when loaded, in order to prevent damage to the load cell due to uneven distribution of the load caused by tilting.

4. It is better to weigh the weight between 60 and 70% of the load cell's range, so as to prevent the load cell from being overloaded and prolong its life.

The combined installation of multiple shear beam load cell requires extra attention. Load cell installation directly affects the accuracy and service life of the load cell, future maintenance and cleaning.
